As the name suggests, this form of lighting is for an emergency situation where the main power supply fails.
In the event of a mains power failure the emergency lighting will provide instant light which will remain illuminated for a minimum of three hours.
As well as installing and maintaining emergency lighting at your premises, Grampian Fire and Safety have fully trained and certified test engineers who can carry out your emergency light testing. In accordance with the current BS 5266-1:2016 standards and amendments, this testing is required to be carried out at 6 monthly intervals and by having a maintenance and testing contract with us it will provide ongoing reassurance of meeting your obligations.
